WEST COAST PALE ALE | 5% ABV
Beach Bum is made for drinking in the sun – or if that’s not possible, then reminiscing about drinking in the sun. Inspired by travelling up the coast of California and lazy days hanging around Venice Beach in LA enjoying fruity pale ales at the Venice Ale House, we created this beer to bring sunshine to any glass, anytime, anywhere.
Beach Bum is a West Coast Pale Ale that uses a blend of citrus forward hops to create flavours tangerine, grapefruit and orange. We rotate the variety of hops from batch-to-batch depending on freshness and availability. The four different types of grain give the beer a medium bodied mouth feel which, when combined with the hops, produces a well-rounded fruity pale ale.
AMERICAN IPA | 7% ABV
Generation IPA is a celebration of all things IPA. It is a homage to the new wave of brewers that have, over the past 20 years or so, re-established this amazing style to become the defining beer of a generation. Many-a-beer fanatic will owe a huge debt to these IPAs for opening their minds to new possibilities. We are continuing this tradition by creating a beer that blends big tropical fruit and citrus flavours with a clean bitterness, all brought together by a full-bodied mouth feel.
Generation IPA is an American style IPA that uses three different types of grain as well as a variety of fruity, intense hops. We rotate the likes of Citra, Simcoe and Centennial for bittering, flavour and aroma to keep the beer fresh and interesting. American yeast is used to amplify the hop character.
NEW ZEALAND FARMHOUSE ALE | 5.5% ABV
Farmhouse Hitchhiker is a Farmhouse Ale that’s inspired by the amazing hops currently being produced in New Zealand. We’ve created this beer as a tribute to the farmers that have grown these hops, such as Motueka, Nelson Sauvin and Wai-iti, which possess incredible flavour and aroma.
Farmhouse Hitchhiker is made from two different types of grain, clear Belgian candi sugars and coriander seeds to create a crisp, fruity and thirst-quenching Belgian-styled Farmhouse Ale. We use a variety of New Zealand hops for each batch to rotate the flavours of lemons, limes, grapefruits, peaches or crushed gooseberries. A Belgian-style yeast strain gives the beer a traditional Farmhouse taste.
IMPERIAL SMOKED COFFEE PORTER | 8.5% ABV
Afrobeat is inspired by the traditional Ethiopian after-dinner coffee ceremony. It begins with the roasting of green Ethiopian coffee beans over a small charcoal stove, after which the smoking pan of aromatic beans is then brought to the table to thrill the senses. We have created a beer with these elements in mind and, like the coffee ceremony, is designed to be appreciated at a leisurely pace whilst commanding attention.
Afrobeat is an Imperial Smoked Coffee Porter made from seven different types of grain, freshly brewed coffee and toasted oak chips, to create a full-bodied beer that imparts a distinct smokiness. We source our coffee from many of the quality coffee roasters in London. We only use coffee originating in Africa and rotate the bean varietals from batch-to-batch to keep the beer fresh and interesting.
ENGLISH OLD ALE | 6.3% ABV
Leather Soul has been designed with a classic British style in mind - think leather Cambridge brogues and oak-framed Chesterfield sofas. These timeless pieces of reserved sophistication have inspired a beer that has been created with craftsmanship and patience, and is designed to be enjoyed at leisure.
Leather Soul is an English Old Ale that marries malt with oak and is aged before release. We use five different types of English malt to create a medium bodied beer that absorbs the woody character from the barrel. We rotate the type of barrel used to age the beer from batch-to-batch to give the beer varying flavours of vanilla, caramel and almonds. We also use corn sugar during the boil to add a sherry-like element to the beer.
AMERICAN KÖLSCH | 5% ABV
Dibble House was inspired by Grant Wood's iconic painting American Gothic and is a hybrid style (an American kölsch) that marries assertive bitterness and a clean crisp finish. The kölsch style originated from Cologne, a landmark of High Gothic architecture, and we have added US hops (to give a higher IBU than a traditional kölsch) to create an easy-drinking refreshing beer.
Dibble House uses four different grains to give the beer an initial malty sweetness before giving way to a lingering bitterness. The yeast and hops add a subtle fruitiness whilst the light carbonation creates a light-medium and smooth mouthfeel.
